This policy covers the Lombardi Electric employee portal and the text messages sent from it. It applies to people who work for Lombardi Electric Inc. It does not cover our public website or anything we hold about customers.
What we hold
- Your name, work address, phone number and email address.
- Your timecards, the jobs you are dispatched to, and time off you request.
- Safety certifications you upload, and shirt and hoodie sizes.
- Whether you have opted in to text messages, and the date you did.
All of it is information needed to run the job and pay you for it.
Your phone number
We use your phone number to reach you about work: by call, by email, and — only if you have ticked the box in My Profile — by text message. We do not sell, rent or share phone numbers with anyone, and no third party is given your number for their own use.
Text messages are delivered by SMTP2GO, our messaging provider, who handle the number only to send our message and for nothing else. See the Text Message Terms for what we send and how to stop it.
Who can see it inside Lombardi
Office staff see what their job requires. Payroll sees timecards and time off. Superintendents and project managers see who is dispatched to their jobs and the hours booked to them. Access is set per person and recorded.
Who we give it to outside Lombardi
- Our messaging provider, to deliver a text you asked for.
- Our payroll processor and the union, where the agreement requires it.
- Anyone we are legally required to give it to.
Nobody else, and never for marketing.
How long we keep it
While you work for Lombardi Electric, and afterwards for as long as employment and payroll records must be kept. Job and timecard history is kept deliberately — it is the record of work done and what it cost.
Keeping it safe
The portal is served over HTTPS and needs a sign-in. Passwords are stored hashed, never in readable form. Uploaded certificates are stored outside the public web folder.
Your choices
- Turn text messages off at any time — reply
STOP, or untick the box in My Profile. - Correct your own details in My Profile.
- Ask the office what is held about you, and ask for a correction.

Changes
If what we collect or who we give it to changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated.
